The Avondale Fire Company was dispatched to an accident with unknown injuries on 10/24 around 1710 hours. Deputy 23 (Carroll) responded immediately after dispatch. Also responding was, Rescue 23 (Asst Chief Bessicks) with a crew of 6. Deputy 23 went on scene with two vehicles not blocking the roadway. The rescue along with Squad 23 provided traffic control and mitigated hazards from the vehicles. Ambulance 23-1 transported two patients to Jennersville Hospital. Rescue 23 stayed on the scene for nearly a hour to assist Blittersdorf Towing with debris in the roadway. Units cleared at 1800 hours.
