Newark Road MVA with Entrapment

On Friday, June 2nd at 1629 hours, the company along with Medic 94-2 were alerted to the intersection of Newark and New Garden Road for an accident reported with entrapment. Deputy 23 arrived at 1631 hours and found a 2 vehicle accident blocking and one subject confined in the vehicle. EMS crews arrived and started patient care. Rescue 23 arrived shortly after and stabilized the vehicle, cut the blocking stop sign post, and removed the driver’s side doors and the “B” post to remove the victim. The victim was removed and transported. The victim of the 2nd vehicle was also transported by Ambulance 241. The Rescue crew also handled hazards and debris.

Fire units cleared the incident at 1734 hours.
