Rescue Assist to WGFC

The West Grove Fire Company was dispatched on June 5th at 0947 hours for an automobile accident at Baker Station Road and Baltimore Pike. Ambulance 22-1 arrived first reporting a box truck versus a car, off the roadway and the driver trapped. On this report Medic 94 was added to the assignment as well as rescue 23. Engine 22-1 arrived first stabilizing the car and going into service with their hydraulic tools. Rescue 23 arrived shortly after, assisting WGFC crews with the extrication. Rescue 23 used their hydraulic rams to raise the dash off of the patient's legs. Extrication was completed around 1000 hours. Crews remained on-scene assisting Blittersdorf's Towing with cleanup and oil dry. Final units cleared around 1030 hours.
