On January 11th, the Avondale Fire Company was alerted to the 100 block of Chambers Road for a reported accident. Chief and Ambulance 23-2 responded and received reports of a vehicle overturned with all occupants reported out. Chief 23 arrived a minute after dispatch and confirmed the report of a car on its roof with the subject out of the vehicle. Rescue 23’s crew arrived taking the blocking position at the scene and removed hazards from the car. Avondale Fire Police closed Chambers Road at Hillendale and Baltimore Pike. Crews stood by awaiting the towing company. Rescue and Fire Police cleared at 1715 hours. Thankfully the patient was not injured.
