The Avondale Fire Company traveled to the New Garden Township building on Starr Road for the promotion of Sergeant Joe Greenwalt. Sgt. Greenwalt was promoted to Lieutenant on Thursday, January 17th, 2019. Greenwalt was with the New Garden Police Department for eleven years and has been with the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department for two years. Along with Sgt Greenwalt being promoted to Lieutenant, Brandon Krissinger, Braden Walsh and Vincent Giacobello were sworn in as police officers! Brandon, Braden, and Vincent we look forward to working with you on incidents and thank you for protecting our community!
