The Avondale Fire Company was dispatched on February 16th to assist Kennett Fire Company with a reported house fire. Engine 23-1 responded with 5 and provided manpower on the scene. Engine 23-1 prepared to supply the scene if needed. The crews from Stations 24 and 25 found a fire in the furnace and the Ladder 25 crew checked the chimney. The fire was quickly placed under control. 23 units cleared the scene at 1305.
