The Avondale Fire Company was dispatched to the intersection of Pennsylvania Ave. and Third Street in Avondale borough for a reported accident. As call takers received additional information, it was quickly upgraded to entrapment. Assistant 23 arrived to find a sedan and a small F450 dump truck involved with no entrapment. Rescue 23 and Engine 23-1 arrived and provided lighting along with hazard and debris clean up. Fire Police from Avondale, West Grove, and Kennett Fire Companies also responded to assist in closing the borough down for the incident.
