After 26 years of service as a Chester County Fire Marshall, Russ Kilmer has retired. Russ was responsible for investigating the cause of fires for the county. He has also been an active member of the Avondale Fire Company for over 52 years, where he has held multiple positions for both executive and operations. Russ has held positions as high as President and 1st Assistant Chief.

Russ you will be missed on the fire scene during investigations, but you have earned a well deserved retirement.

The officers and members have enjoyed working with you as a Fire Marshall and look forward to continuing the AFC relationship.
