The Avondale Fire Company was dispatched for an accident on Route 41 and Sixth Street at 1727 hours. Assistant 23, Ambulance 23, and Rescue 23 (Chief Cole with 5) went responding seconds later. Assistant 23 arrived on scene finding two vehicles not blocking the road. The rescue crew checked and handled hazards on both vehicles. Fire police shut down one lane of traffic while the tow truck hooked up the cars. Crews cleared at 1812 hours.
