At 4:47 Tuesday morning, the Avondale Fire Company was dispatched to an automobile accident with possible entrapment. Ambulance 23-1 and Engine 23-1 went enroute minutes later while Hoseman Cole went direct and confirmed that there was no entrapment. Crews checked the vehicle for hazards and provided scene lighting for Southern Chester County Regional Police and Blittersdorf's Towing. Fire Police assisted with traffic control for the duration of the incident. Engine 23-1 and Fire Police cleared the scene and were available at 5:49.
