As many of you know this Saturday into Sunday we will be "falling back" and changing the clocks backwards by an hour. After you enjoy your extra hour of sleep, it is important to remember to complete a crucial life safety task for this time of year. It should be your policy that when you change your clocks you should also change your smoke detectors' batteries. Smoke detectors are an important life saving device in the event of an emergency. Smoke detectors save lives!! Your detector should be tested monthly and always left in working order. A detector should be on every level of your home and additional detectors in every bedroom. If you don't have any detectors call your local fire house and see if they have any available or go out and purchase them. Please help us by helping yourself and making sure you are notified early in an emergency to get out!!
