At this year's Company awards luncheon, Lifetime Member and past Chief Alvin Keiter, Jr., was honored for achieving 50 years of service with Avondale Fire Company. Fire Company President Tom Quinn proudly presented Alvin with his fifty-year service award. Over the years, Alvin has served in various roles including, Fire Chief (1989, 1990), Fire Lieutenant, Chief Hoseman, Fire Police Lieutenant, Membership Secretary, and Trustee. The Avondale Fire Company would like to thank Alvin for his 50 years of volunteerism in the fire service and dedication to protecting the residents of our community.
