Just before 7:00am on Sunday, July 10th, Avondale Fire Company was dispatched to the area of Hillendale Road and Scarlett Road in New Garden Township for an automobile accident. Ambulance 23 arrived to find a two-vehicle accident blocking the roadway on Scarlett Road north of Hillendale Road. Crews secured the vehicles upon arrival while the EMS team from Ambulance 23 evaluated the occupants of the vehicles for injuries. Once it was confirmed that there were no patients requiring EMS transports to the hospital, Ambulance 23 was released from the scene and responded to an accident with injuries in East Marlborough Township. Chief, Rescue, Traffic, and Fire Police remained on the scene while tow-operators from Blittersdorf's Towing removed the vehicles. Crews from Rescue 23 cleared the roadway of debris and Scarlett Road was reopened.
