The Avondale Fire Company was dispatched at 2211 hours on October 20th for a reported electrical fire inside. Engine 23-2 responded immediately on dispatch. The Chester County Dispatch Center provided additional reports that a child from the residence advised something was on fire inside of the home, however wasn't sure what it was. Ambulance 23-1 was returning from Christiana Hospital and was first arriving on-scene reporting a single-wide trailer with smoke showing. Ambulance 23 requested the working fire dispatch (WFD), which added Rescue 27, Medic 94, and PECO. Engine 23-2 arrived as the first due engine (FDE), laying their supply line from Old Limestone and Rocky Springs Roads. The crew on Engine 23-2 stretched their hand-line through the front door with extreme heat and smoke conditions. Rescue 23 arrived as the second due engine (SDE) supplying Engine 23-2 with water. The rescue crew stretched a second hand-line assisting the engine crew. Crews found heavy fire in multiple back bedrooms. Tanker 23 arrived (FDT), setting up as the nurse tanker for water supply to the scene. Engine 23-1 arrived as the third due engine (TDE) and stood by as RIT before Longwood Fire Company's crew took over. Ladder 19 arrived and established the first due special (FDS) assignment assisting crews with searching, which deemed to be negative. Once the fire was under control, units assisted in overhaul capabilities.

Final units cleared at 0130 hours.
