Just after 2:00, units from Avondale, Po-Mar-Lin (Unionville), Kennett, Longwood, West Grove, Cochranville and Modena fire companies were dispatched to the 200 block of Wilson Road in West Marlborough Township for a reported garage on fire.

Engine 23-2, Tanker 23 and Traffic 23 made the response.

Chief 25 (McCarthy) went enroute and while enroute reported a header of smoke about two miles out from the scene and requested the tanker task force. The task force added additional tankers to the scene.
Chief 25 arrived to find a 30' x 30' garage with visible fire showing and requested the working fire dispatch.

Engine 23-2 arrived on scene as the fourth due engine and was originally tasked with setting up a tanker fill site but was redirected to send their crew to the scene to assist with fire suppression. Tanker 23 arrived shortly after supplying one load of water into Tanker 36 before being released by command. Ambulance 23-1 arrived and provided additional EMS support for crews on the scene.

Engine 23-2 was released after being on scene for around two hours.
