It is with deep regret that the Avondale Fire Company announces the passing of Life Member, Louise Massey. Louise joined the Avondale Fire Company in 1985, as an active Fire Police Officer.

In 2005, Louise became a lifetime member of the company and continued as a Fire Police Officer for many years to come.

Louise received multiple awards during her 38 years of service to Avondale, such as multiple years of being a Top 10 responder of the company, Fire Police of the Year from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Fire Police of the Year from the County of Chester, Community Award for years of service as a Fire Police Officer from the Avon Grove Lions Club and many more.

Louise passed away peacefully with her family present just after midnight on March 20th.

The family would like to invite those wishing to attend the services on Tuesday, March 28th at the Foulk Funeral home located at 200 Rose Hill Road in West Grove, PA.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM.
Burial will follow immediately after the services at the Oxford Cemetery located on Route 10 in Oxford, PA.
