At 3:41am on Easter Sunday morning, Avondale Fire Company's Traffic, Traffic Control Trailer, and Fire Police were dispatched to assist with traffic control for a multi-alarm fire in the 100 block of Washington Avenue in Parkesburg Borough. Fire Police responded and deployed cones and barricades to direct traffic and close streets around the fire scene. Cones were also placed along a section of a 5" water supply line, which stretched towards the fire scene from a hydrant at the intersection of S. Church Street (Route 10) and E. 2nd Avenue.

After deploying the cones and barricades, Traffic 23 was assigned to close Route 10 northbound at Highland Road until the roadway was re-opened around 8:45am. Fire Police picked up the equipment and cleared the scene at 9:10am.

Units: Traffic, Traffic Control Trailer, Fire Police
