First Due Reported House Fire

At 1856 hours, on Friday April 5th, the company along with mutual aid companies were dispatched to a reported house fire in the Cedar Wood Circle section of New Garden Township.
Units responded with-in seconds of the dispatch and received reports from Chester County fire radio of a bathroom on fire in the residence.
Southern Chester County Regional Police Department arrived to find a fire in the ceiling of the bathroom and extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher.
Chief 23 arrived at a 2 story multi-occupancy structure, with nothing showing and established "Avondale Command".
Southern Chester County Regional police officers advised command of their findings and they believed the fire was out.
Fire units arrived and checked for extensions with-in the residence and the residence above the fire room.
Crews confirmed the fire was held to the first-floor bathroom, with no fire extensions.
With this information, command reduced the incident to units on the scene.
Crews set-up fans for ventilation to remove the smoke from the residence.
Once the smoke was removed, the equipment was restored on the apparatus, the final crews cleared at 2010 hours.
