| At 1514 hours during the major rain storm, The Avondale Fire Company was alerted for an auto accident with unknown injures on Route 1 Northbound in the area of Glenn Willow Road. Chief 23 went responding at 1515 hours, and was advised by CCFB they were getting information of an RV over the embankment, overturned, with 2 victims trapped. This upgraded the incident to entrapment adding Ambulance 22 (West Grove EMS), Medic(s) 94, and 194-1 (SCCEMS). Chief 23 was then given information of a 3rd subject with chest pains, which added MICU 25 (Longwood EMS). Assistant 23 arrived at 1521 hours with a box truck over the embankment on it's roof and another vehicle off to the side. After further investigation it was determined all victims were out of their vehicles. EMS only had 1 victim requesting services. Chief 23 reduced the EMS side of the incident to Ambulance 23 and Medic 194-1. Rescue 23's crew secured the vehicles and handled hazards. Fire Police closed Northbound Route 1 at Route 41. Crews remained on the scene and assisted the towing company with getting the vehicle back up onto the roadway. The road was reopened at 1652 hours and units cleared.
