| The Avondale Fire Company, along with Longwood MICU 25, was alerted to the 100 block of Bancroft Road for a motor vehicle accident. Squad, Deputy, and Fire Police responded immediately to the scene. Deputy 23 arrived first to find a vehicle in a ditch. The patient had self extricated before the fire department’s arrival. Squad 23 arrived and used a 14 foot roof ladder to make access to the vehicle to ensure no additional patients were involved. Crews confirmed the vehicle was vacant.
Avondale Fire Police closed both sides of Bancroft Road for an extended period of time.
No subjects were injured in this vehicle accident.
