The Avondale Fire Company was dispatched at 1509 hours to an auto accident at West Cypress Street ands Scarlett Road. Chief 23 (Cole) responded seconds later with the report of a vehicle on its side, leaking fluids. Chief 23 arrived to find a SUV on it's side blocking Cypress Street, and a 2nd SUV off the road. Chief 23 requested additional fire police from Kennett and Longwood to shut down West Cypress Street at Scarlett Rd. The rescue crew stabilized the SUV, then assisted the tow truck and cleaned-up the street.
