The Avondale Fire Company regrets to announce the passing of Life Member Wallace “Gene” Bessicks.

Gene joined the company in May of 1991.

Through his years at Avondale, he was an active driver and held the position(s) of Trustee and Engineer for multiple years.

There will be a viewing at the Congo Funeral Home in Wilmington, Delaware on Friday, February 6th from 1100 to 1200 hours.

Burial will be held at The Union Hill Cemetery, in Kennett Square on Friday, February 6th at 1300 Hours.
