Engine 23-1 Now In Service

The Avondale Fire Company is proud to announce that they are finally putting the new Engine 23-1 into service. The engine is a 2014 4-Guys Spartan Gladiator. It is equipped with 1000 gallons of water, 30 gallons of class “A” foam, and a 1750 GPM pump. It has 7 pre-connected attack lines providing 1400’ of fire suppression hose and 100’ booster line. In addition, it has 500’ of 3” and 1200’ of 5” supply line. The Engine also has a 15 KW generator, a full complement of fire suppression tools and basic rescue tools, a LED light tower and LED scene lighting. This Engine will be designated as Engine 23-1. Engine 23-1 is in service as of 2/26/15 at 1801 hours.
