Tanker Asst and Fire Type Unknown

The Avondale Fire Company was dispatched as part of the first alarm tanker task-force to assist the Keystone Valley Fire Company (Station 8) on the working barn fire at 1934 hours. The tanker responded with-in minutes. Once the tanker arrived on-scene, they were part of the water shuttle where they shuttled multiple loads of water from the water supply back to the fire scene.
Tanker 23 was released at 2225 hours.

While returning back to the local, AFC was dispatched for a Fire Type Unknown. Chief and the Tanker responded with-in seconds of dispatch. Chief 23 (S. Cole) got the report of smoke in the area of Evans Drive and Yeatmans Station Road. Chief 23 was in the area with Deputy 23 (Carroll), Engine 231 (D. Ianni), Engine 232 (Bessicks), and Tanker 23 (B. Cole). Crews found a smoke condition in the area. After an extensive search of the area, the smoke dissipated, and the source was un-founded. Crews were released at 2315 hours.
