On Saturday, May 16th, the Avondale Fire Company along with the New Garden Township Police Department will participate in Public Safety Appreciation Day. Come out to sit in the front seat of a fire truck or try on some of our gear. Attendees arriving in the morning may participate in workshops to learn CPR or about Crime Scene Forensics. In the afternoon, the fire company will demonstrate a crashed vehicle extraction using the Jaws of Life followed by a Medevc.
