The Avondale Fire Company along with Ambulance 22-1 were dispatched just before 1600 hours for an accident with unknown injuries on Gap Newport Pike (Route 41) at 6th Street. Chief 23 made a quick response and received reports of a three vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer. Chief 23 arrived finding one vehicle with a trailer versus the back of a tractor trailer. Rescue 23 arrived checking for hazards, assisting with traffic control and removal of debris in the roadway. Ambulance 22-1 (West Grove) checked three victims for minor injuries. All patients refused services. Rescue 23 assisted Riveras Towing. All units cleared the incident at 1715 hours.
