On Monday October 17th, at 1725 hours the Avondale Fire Company was alerted to Newark Road and Airport Way for a reported accident. Ambulance 23-2 responded after dispatch and received reports of a second accident at Gap Newport Pike and Third Street in Avondale. Then, the Avondale Fire Company along with West Grove Ambulance were alerted to the second accident at Gap Newport Pike and Third Street. Chief 23 went on-scene of the second accident with a car rolled over on its roof and reported all occupants appeared to be out. Ambulance 23-2 reported nothing found on the first accident and responded to the second accident in Avondale. Rescue 23 with 5 responded to the second accident to secure the hazards of the vehicle. Fire police ran one lane of Route 41 during the incident. Final units cleared at 1800 hours.
