During the weekly training night at the Avondale Fire Company, members decided to train on their use and ability to control Hurst tools. These tools are used on many car accident scenes to cut trapped people out of cars. The Hurst tool has a cutting force of 30,000 pounds. The members and officers decided to use some of the AMP energy drinks donated to the fire company for this training. The goal was to pick up the can with the tool. The members then had to carefully put the can on top of the cone without dropping it. They had to be careful not to use too much pressure when picking up the can. Finally the members raced to see who could do it the fastest. The Avondale Fire Company would like to thank AMP for their donation to the fire company.
