| Santa is resuming his routes throughout our area today with the help from the Avondale Fire Company.
Because Santa needs to be healthy for his trip on Christmas night all around the world, Santa's elves have asked that we don't stop to take pictures so that he can maintain his social distancing. That means that Santa will be parading through the municipalities we provide services to this year without stopping. He can be spotted atop our big green fire trucks.
You'll be able to tell that he's getting close when you hear our sirens and see our flashing lights, so make sure you come outside when you hear us in the distance.
This year, Avondale Fire Company will also be utilizing our Realtime Santa tracking technology to allow you to see where Santa and our firetrucks are during our routes! The link to view our tracker will be posted on our Facebook which is linked below. You'll also be able to use our linked "Santa Schedule" below to get a rough estimate of when Santa will be coming through town.
The community has been extremely generous about donating to our organization as we bring Santa around, but in the era of COVID, we're asking that if you are interested in donating to us, you do so through our PayPal account (linked below), or by mailing a donation to our station at 23 Firehouse Way, Avondale, PA 19311.
We will be seeing you very soon! |
