At 0123 hrs the Avondale Fire Company was dispatched to a accident in the area of Hillendale and Scarlett Rd. Chief 23 went responding minutes later and the incident was upgraded to a accident involving fire and possible entrapment. Chief 23 arrived on scene at 0129 confirming a fully involved vehicle into a pole and requesting PECO priority 1. Rescue 23 arrived on scene at 0136 hrs under the command of Captain 23. It was determined that there was negative entrapment and the patient had been extricated by PD prior to fire department arrival.
