At 1710 hours on Saturday, August 15th, Avondale Fire Company was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle into a house in the 200 block of Chaingate Circle in the Somerset Meadows development in New Garden Twp. The Rescue and Engine arrived to find a delivery truck that struck the garage of a home while making a delivery. Crews used wheel chocks to secure the truck to ensure that it wouldn't move and cordoned off the area with caution tape. The Avondale Command requested Belfor Restoration to the scene to ensure the residence was stable before the truck was removed. No major injuries were reported. Crews cleared the scene around 1930 hrs.
