At 1033 hours, Avondale Fire Company was dispatched for an Engine to assist Longwood Fire Company on a working house fire on Creamery Lane in Kennett Township.
Engine 23-1 responded with a crew of 4, and once on-scene, crews were assigned with throwing ground ladders on the Bravo side of the structure. Afterwards, crews were assigned over-haul operations on division #2.
Traffic 23 was also on-scene providing traffic control around the fire scene.
