On Friday, November 7, 2025, just before 6:00 PM, the Avondale Fire Company was dispatched to the 1200 block of Newark Road in New Garden Township for a reported motor vehicle accident.

Crews arrived to find a two-vehicle collision, with one vehicle on its side. All occupants had self-extricated before the department’s arrival, and no injuries were reported.

A section of Newark Road was temporarily closed while emergency personnel operated on the scene and was later reopened.
